South Pointe Farms is a family owned and operated business. Jim Lieblong and his two sons, Justin and Jordan, have been hunting and fishing this farm since the mid 90’s. Since 2000 the farm has been managed using the wetlands restoration program. This allowed the Lieblong family to focus on the things they loved most, habitat management and waterfowl!
Managed Duck Habitat
There is not a more unique place to take home a limit of mallards.
We pride ourselves on having the best managed duck habitat possible, resulting in an increased success rate for our hunters. Southpointe borders the Petit Jean River WMA that consists of 15,581 acres. This along with Southpointe’s hundreds of acres of barnyard, brown top, Japanese, and golden millets make this a destination for thousands of wintering mallards.
Peeler Lake Lodge
Peeler Lake Lodge is a look inside the dreams of Jim Lieblong. Surrounded by large oak trees and overlooking Peeler Lake, it is the definition of peaceful. It includes four bedrooms with eight queen beds, living room with fireplace, large front/back covered porches, a patio with fire-pit, cooking area, and always a full belly!!
